Federal Cherry and Bird's-eye Maple Inlaid Bureau, possibly New Hampshire, 1815-20, the top with elliptical front, ovolo corners, and inlaid edge above a conforming case of four cockbeaded graduated drawers with bird's-eye maple panels bordered by stringing and mahogany crossbanding with flanking quarter-engaged ring-turned columns continuing to vase and ring-turned legs joined by a valanced skirt centering a rectangular drop panel, brasses appear to be original, refinished, (imperfections), ht. 39, wd. 39, dp. 20 in.
