Assembled Three Piece George III Silver Tea Service, London, comprising a teapot, 1794, by Peter and Ann Bateman, ovoid, with straight spout, ivory handle and lid finial, ht/. 6; a sugar basket, 1812, maker's mark partially rubbed, boat shaped, with reeded swing handle, lg. 5 5/8; and a creamer, 1795, no maker's mark, squat helmet shaped, ht. 4 1/8 in., all with similar bright cut bands of patera roundels conjoined by leafy scrolls and swags; sold together with a pair of bright cut engraved sugar tongs, c. 1781, by Samuel Godbehere & Edward Wigan, lg. 5 3/8 in., (4 items total), approx. 24 troy oz.
