Unusual Silver Hanukah Lamp, Jerusalem, 1960s, attributed to Smilovitz, arched backplate with clock-form finial, columnar supports acting as Shabbat candleholders, set with animals, scrollwork and "gems," the base with a series of oil fonts, elaborately scrolled base, ht. 10 1/2 in. Provenance: Christies New York, June 25, 1985, lot. 396. Smilovitz is know for his inventive creations combining antique elements.
