Two Woodlands Rattles, c. late 19th century, a curled bark form, and one with a wood handle, horn and wood rattle, and decorated with Plains quill-wrapped rawhide slats with tin cone danglers, (quill loss, insect damage), lg. to 13 in. Provenance: Charles Edward Mendenhall (1849-1937).
