Chinese School, 19th Century Hong Kong Harbor. Unsigned. Watercolor and gouache on paper, with an octagonal oblong reserve depicting junks and a sidewheeler moored in the harbor before several buildings on the waterfront, flanked by pen and ink apple and eggplant-shaped reserves painted with decorative artifacts, 16 1/2 x 12 in., in a molded giltwood frame. Condition: Creases, foxing, moisture stains. Note: An inscription on the reverse reads "Originally in 'Tack House' Deerfield Mass. Hung in ??? room with 7 others. Hong Kong Harbor...gift Mr. Robt. Scott Harris (who purchased it at Tack Auction circa 1956.)"
