Classical Mahogany Carved Lyre Banjo Timepiece, probably Massachusetts, c. 1825, the carved finial above a molded wooden bezel and painted iron dial inscribed "Smith" and brass eight-day weight-driven movement above the acanthus leaf scroll-carved lyre form throat and molded pendulum box, both with eglomise tablets, all on molded bracket with acorn pendant, refinished, replaced tablets, ht. 41 in.
