French, likely 19th century. A nicely married fire set comprising of a gilt bronze chenets and gilt brass fire fender, the chenets of Rococo turned form raised on opposing scrolled feet with acanthus leaf tips and garland between legs surmounted by fluted and turned shaft with foliate adorned tapered finials; and the late 19th century gilt brass fender of French Empire style in rectangular form with five matching figural groupings to length depicting swans flanking a central vase form, the medallions topped by a twisted bar secured by foliate decorated finials. Andirons approximately 19.75" tall, 9.5" wide, 19.25" deep. Fender approximately 6.5" tall, 48" wide, 12" deep.
