Story, Joseph (1779-1845), Autograph letter signed, Cambridge, April 7, 1835, one page, to E. Phinney, enthusiastically accepting an invitation to speak on the anniversary of April 19, 1775, "There are few scenes of more interest in our Revolutionary History, & none which can be contemplated with more deep sensitivity by Patriots and Statesmen, than that, which stained your plains with the fresh blood shed in Defence of our Independence," (very good, glue remnants on reverse).
