Martha Chase Stockinette Hospital Doll, c. 1930, fully painted head and body, blue painted eyes, short blonde hair with light brushstroking, shapely mouth, pierced nostrils and ears, face with more matte finish than body and limbs, overall very clean condition (light crazing on face and neck, small paint loss spot under left ear, wear at ankles), stitched joints at shoulders, elbows and hips, bright circular doll-face stamp under right arm, ht. 20 in.
