Scene Mecanique Automaton of a French Port, circa 1860, the papier-mache and painted-card harbor scene with three-masted ship in estuary, viaduct and tower with soldier, on ebonized base containing the two-air pull-string cylinder movement causing the ship to toss on tissue-paper waves, the sentry to patrol in the tower and a steam train to cross the viaduct, under painted glass dome, ht. 21 in., (good original condition).
