Federal Mahogany and Mahogany and Satinwood Veneer Inlaid Work Table, probably Salem, Massachusetts, c. 1805-10, the serpentine top with ovolo corners on a conforming frame with drawer and bag drawer below, the drawer, sides, and canted corners all bordered with mahogany crossbanding and contrasting stringing, and satinwood panels, joining half-engaged vase and ring-turned reeded legs on swelled feet, turned wooden pull, refinished, (imperfections), ht. 28 3/4, wd. 18, dp. 14 1/2 in.
