Federal Mahogany and Mahogany Veneer Inlaid Desk, probably northeastern Massachusetts, c. 1800, the top section with flat molded cornice above a concealed frieze drawer and two hinged doors with simulated inlaid pilasters opening to a compartmented multi-drawer interior, set into projecting lower section of fold-out writing surface and four cockbeaded graduated drawers on flaring French feet and shaped skirt, replaced brasses, refinished, (imperfections), ht. 56, wd. 41 3/4, dp. 20 1/2 in.
