Pair of English satinwood inlaid armchairs, the pierced backsplat centered with elliptical panel inlaid with urn and foliage over a foliate pierced and inlaid shaped splat, the stiles with scrolled ears, the shaped seat inset with upholstery and raised on tapering sabre legs with front bowed stretcher, the sides with twin turned stretchers. Height 34.5", width 19"(arm to arm), seat height 17", seat depth 17". Provenance: From the Estate of Mr. & Mrs. H.C. Carson of Atlanta, Georgia.
