Queen Anne Maple High Chest of Drawers, probably Connecticut, c. 1740-60, the top section with flat cove-molded cornice above a case of two thumbmolded short drawers and three graduated long drawers, set into a lower section of three short drawers above a deeply valanced apron joining cabriole legs with scrolled carved knee returns ending in claw and ball feet, replaced brasses, refinished, (very minor imperfections), ht. 67, wd. 36 1/2, dp. 19 in.
