Four Metal Sewing Clamps, probably America, late 19th century, an ornate gold painted cast brass hemming bird clamp topped with a blue velvet pincushion with red chenille trim over a spring-activated figural bird clamp enclosed in a wreath highlighted with blue flowers, with a rustic branch- form shaft and fruiting scrolled thumbscrew; a brass and iron clamp topped with a half-round pincushion holder; a nickel-plated clamp with foliate pincushion holder, snake-form fabric clamp with punch decoration and engraved initial "M", pierced trefoil thumbscrew; a cast iron clamp depicting a girl's head wearing a plumed and scrolled headdress, marked "TATUM" in relief on the reverse, (minor wear), lg. 3 1/4-12 1/2 in.
