Grant" by the 18th President of the United States; Jefferson Davis (American, 1807/08-1889) signed "Jefferson Davis" by the President of the Confederate States of American; Harriet Beecher Stowe (American, 1811-1896) signed to verso of calling card "H. B. Stowe" by the American abolitionist and author; and two indistinguishable signatures, possibly "Beth Coo..." and "P. G. Holc...". Each signature individually mounted to a later sheet for use in a scrapbook. Overall sheet approximately 5" x 9.5".
