Rudolph Voelcker (American (New Jersey), b. 1873). "Red Farmhouses", oil on verso of re-purposed advertising poster, signed lower right "R. A Voelcker". Charming painting depicting a group of two red farmhouses at center with high peaked gray roofs set within a lush landscape with a deep field of tall grasses to foreground, clusters of trees behind structures, four tall trees with yellowing leaves at left, and blue skies with fluffy white clouds throughout. Framed approximately 13.25" x 16.375", sight size approximately 8.875" x 11.75".
