Note: Accompanied by original bill of sale, a copy of a letter from the curator of the Smithsonian's Department of Mineral Sciences dated 1986, and Gemological Appraisal Laboratory of America Inc. certificate no. 051994GG1NYGAL dated May 19, 1994 stating that the diamond is fancy light yellow color, VVS2 clarity. At the time it was purchased, the diamond was known as the "African Sunrise".
