Kreussen Pewter Mounted Apostle Tankard, Germany, circa 1690, brown ground with polychrome enamel and gold decoration, wide central band of Apostles in relief to either side of a medallion with depiction of a pelican piercing its breast to feed its young with its blood, bordered in foliate bands and with an inscription surrounding the foot, hinged pewter stamped by a member of the Dor family of Bayreuth, ht. 6 in.
