Regency Tortoiseshell Veneered Tea Caddy, early 19th century, sarcophagus-shaped, the veneer panels separated by silver fillets, the sides of body with brass lion mask pendant handles, on paw feet, the lid with central monogrammed and crested silver plaque, interior fitted with central colorless glass mixing bowl set between pair of lidded wells, wd. 13 1/4, dp. 6 3/8, ht. 7 3/8 in.
