Two French Empire-style Colorless Glass and Gilt Metal Vases, late 19th century, one amphora form with flute cuts, set into frame with tapered legs ending in acanthus, conjoined by chains, ht. 7 1/2, the other triangular, with shallow colorless glass bowl set into frame with tapered legs conjoined by fluted bands, with pierced floral, acanthus, and laurel wreath mounts to corners, ht. 5 3/8 in. Provenance: Sold for the Benefit of the Brooklyn Museum.
