Jonas Weber (Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, 1810-1876) , painted pine trinket box dated 1848 and inscribed Hannah S. Ressler , the lid and sides with vibrant floral decoration, the front with a large white house flanked by pine trees, above a tri-color lawn, all on a dark green/blue ground, 5 3/4" h., 10 1/4" w. Accompanying this lot is a group of Kessler ephemera to include a journal by Hannah detailing an excursion from Lancaster County, Pennsylvania to Ohio in 1848.
