Brown-eyed Pink Tint China Shoulder Head Doll, Germany, c. 1850, brown painted eyes with molded lids, red line above, painted lower lashes, pink coloring with rosy cheeks (some rubs), center part hairstyle with comb marks to behind exposed ears, twelve vertical curls to nape of neck, deep shoulderplate (old crack from right front sew-hole to curls), old cloth body with well-shaped front-pointing feet, mitt hands, original cotton undergarments and green wool challis dress with rose-red braid trim, ht. 19 in.
