Kestner Bisque Head Oriental Baby, early 20th century, sleeping brown glass eyes (tiny flakes on lower left lid), open mouth with wobble tongue and two upper inset teeth, overall even coloring, pink-toned cheeks, impressed K 14 Made in Germany 243 JDK marks, (1/8 inch square wig pull between J and D), black mohair wig, yellow tinted five-piece bent limb body (some darkening and cracking of paint), lime green and orange Chinese outfit with bullion braid trim on clothes and shoes, (outfit has some fading), head circ. 13 1/2, lg. 18 in.
