Brown-eyed Tinted China Head Doll with Exposed Ears, Germany, mid-19th century, brown painted eyes with white highlights, red line above, suggestion of molded lid below, light pink tinting with soft rose cheek coloring, center part black hair with twelve curls to nape of neck behind exposed ears, nicely sloped shoulders, cloth body, china limbs, legs with blue garters, high black boots (one foot repaired), brown cotton print dress, ht. 13 1/2 in.
