Early Pink Tint China Shoulder Head Doll with Wind-blown Hair, Germany, c. 1840s, slim-faced doll, brown painted eyes with tiny highlights, red line above, small delicately painted mouth, short black boyish hair with brushstrokes around face, molded wavy hair on back of head, cloth body, brown kid lower arms with separately wired fingers (old taping of arm breaks is giving away), fine white cotton undergarments, white lawn dress, blue ribbon at waist, new black leather shoes, ht. 16 1/2 in.
