Kestner Bisque Head Doll in Nun's Garb, Germany, early 20th century, brown glass eyes (not sleeping), open mouth, molded-in upper teeth, face is classic Kestner, appears to be a mold 154, head-piece stitched and pinned on, fully articulated composition Kestner body, habit of black wool and faille, crucifix on cord around neck, black bead rosary at waist, newer black stockings and shoes, ht. 22 1/2 in.
