Dorothy Heizer Cloth Doll, Nefertete, Queen of Egypt, from the painted limestone head and tomb drawings, the doll has classic high cheek bones, impossibly long slender fingers, bare feet with sandals, and wears an elaborate crown with cobra, finely pleated white mousseline skirt and scarf, braided sash of coral-colored linen, elaborately beaded collar, anklets and wristlets; Heizer noted "she is one of the most difficult figures that I make, also the most interesting to try to do", ht. to top of head-dress, 10 in.
