American, 19th century. Mahogany and maple bowfront chest of drawers, the bowfront banded top with canted corners over a conforming case with two short drawers over two long drawers, each with yellow pine secondary and individual locking mechanisms, all stamped with "Hand Made Secure Patent", chest also has dust boards (later) and raised on shaped bracket feet. Approximate height 33.75", width 44.75", depth 20".
