Simon & Halbig 949 Bisque Swivel Neck Doll, Germany, late 19th century, blue lined stationary eyes, long slender face, open mouth with one lower and two square upper teeth, pierced ears (small flakes at left ear hole, light cheek rubs, pinhead cinder hole on front lower neck, straw lines in neck area), impressed S 11 H 949 at crown of socket head and back edge of shoulder plate, brown mohair wig over cork pate, gusseted kid body, bisque lower arms (one finger tip gone), new red cotton velvet dress and hat with white lace trim, ht. 20 1/2 in.
