Figural painting depicting walking mother with long brown hair accented with white flowers and bare feet lovingly carrying her baby child with blonde hair and wearing white tunic while carrying a wooden bucket of water in opposite hand on a sand covered ground with scattered vegetation, view of ocean in background at left, cottage with sloped thatched roof and figure at right. Pencil sketch on verso of board with loosely rendered inscriptions. Framed approximately 23.5” x 18.25”. Unframed approximately 19” x 14”.
