Mounted Collection of Wedgwood and Related Medallions, England, 18th/early 19th century, varying in colors and subjects, twenty-three in all, lg. 3/4 to 2 3/4 in. Note: Accompanying the medallions is a copy of a letter from F. Rathbone dated the 16th of November 1895 offering the medallions to a Mrs. Spranger, with provenance from the late Mr. Joseph Clarke of Saffron Walden. The box is inscribed on the cover "To Joseph Clarke of Saffron Walden from Joseph Mayer - Liverpool Sept. 27 1854".
