Wedgwood Light Blue Jasper Dip Apollo Vase and Cover, England, circa 1930, designed by John Goodwin to commemorate the bicentenary of the birth of Josiah Wedgwood, applied white relief and verse, mounted atop a wood plinth, ht. 9 1/2 in. Note: Accompanying the vase is a framed receipt whereby this vase was presented to Lady Harrowby in Sandon Hall, Stafford., from Josiah Wedgwood & Sons Ltd. in 1938.
