Steiff Blonde Mohair Teddy Bear, c. 1905, with blank button in ear, black button eyes, light-brown stitched nose and mouth, excelsior-stuffed body with back hump, elongated limbs with felt pads and stitched claws, ht. 12 1/2 in., (scattered fur loss, hole in left hand and foot pads). Provenance: The childhood teddy of Laureena Majorie Nelson (1900 - 1921) of Keene, New Hampshire. Laureena was the daughter to Emma and Edward Nelson, the original owners of the Steiner doll in the previous lot.
