New Jersey Chippendale walnut and maple high chest in two parts, ca. 1765 , the upper section with a molded cornice, above three short and three long drawers flanked by chamfered and fluted corners, resting on a base with one long drawer above three short drawers over a scalloped skirt supported by cabriole front legs with shell carved knees and ball and claw feet, the rear legs terminating in slipper feet, retaining its original bat wing brasses, 72" h., 41 3/4" w.
