George Arthur Hays (American, 1854-1945) Lot of Two Landscapes with Cattle: Oaklawn and Brook at Oaklawn Oaklawn unsigned, Brook signed "G A Hays" l. l., both with labels on the reverse. Gouache on paper/board, sight sizes to 6 1/2 x 9 1/4 in. (16.5 x 23.5 cm), framed. Condition: Scattered craquelure, mild soiling, not examined out of frames. Provenance: Purchased from the artist, then by descent to the present owner. The toning and soiling are subtle. Although they have not been removed from their frames, there are no other visible condition issues to report.
