Continental School, 19th Century Farm Scene Unsigned. Oil on canvas, 31 3/4 x 39 1/4 in. (80.6 x 99.7 cm), in a period frame. Condition: Mounted onto board, retouch, craquelure, surface grime. The work is mounted onto Masonite. There is craquelure throughout with areas of alligatoring, separating, lifting, and flaking. There are several small scattered losses, predominately along the bottom edge. Retouch is scattered small areas throughout. The work would probably benefit from a gentle cleaning.
