School of John Riley (British, 1646-1691) Portrait of a Lady with a String of Pearls Seated in a Landscape Unsigned, identified a on presentation plaque. Oil on canvas, 49 3/4 x 40 1/4 in. (126.3 x 102.0 cm), framed. Condition: Lined, rubs/losses (primarily along the left edge), scattered retouch, surface grime, craquelure. The lining is an old glue lining. The retouch is scattered dashes and strokes, both older and newer. The craquelure is stable. The work might brighten upon cleaning. We can offer no comments or conditions for frames.
