Serra, Fra Junipero (1713-1784), Signature and sentiment clipped from a larger document, framed with portrait, 1 1/4 by 3 1/4 in. , (minor soiling and smudging). Note: Father Junipero Serra was the founder of the Mission chain in Alta California and is credited with the formation of seven missions. He was beatified by Pope John Paul II in 1988.
