French, early 20th century. A large French two piece silver over copper coffee urn, probably manufactured for a hotel, the top half with turned lid and finial over a cylindrical body mounted to both sides with tubular handles and centrally stamped in shaped cartouche 'La Precieuse Brevetee SDGD Depose' with a recumbent lion over a M and J centered with a cross, the interior with built in coffee screen or strainer, the bottom piece mounted with large stylized handles and tapered form spreading to the circular base centered with mounted spigot with handle .Approximate height 27.25", width 16.5" (bottom handle to handle), diameter of base 11.5".
