Seven-piece Sterling Silver Tea Service Designed in the Magnolia pattern Mexico, possibly Tango Aceves, mid-20th century Comprised of a water kettle on stand with burner, coffeepot, teapot, covered creamer, open sugar, waste bowl, and tray, marked with the letters MA in a broken circle/mexico/Sterling 925 and eagle stamp with the number 25 inside, approx. ht. 14, 9 3/8, 7 1/4, 5 1/8, 4 1/4, 2 3/8, tray lg. 27 1/8 in.; approx. 64, 35, 25, 12, 11, 7, 114 respective troy oz. The eagle stamp was used from 1948 until 1979, when a letter and number system was introduced. The Magnolia pattern was created by Georg Jensen in the early 20th century.
