Edwardian Platinum and Diamond Bracelet, centering a cushion-cut diamond weighing approx. 7.53 cts., further set with old European, old mine, single, and rose-cut diamonds, approx. total wt. 39.57 cts. (including center diamond), millegrain accents, lg. 7 3/4 in., within period Cartier box. For an example of the Cartier "serti-muguet", or lily of the valley setting, which first appeared around 1905, see Cartier 1900-1939, by Judy Rudoe, p. 76. The bracelet was most likely originally a bandeau. The bracelet and box descended together through the family of the original owner.
