Cased Model of the Schooner HMS Musquidobit , built by Phillip S. Reed, Massachusetts, late 20th century, mounted in a glazed burl veneer case, overall ht. 9 3/4, wd. 6 3/4, lg. 14 1/4 in. Note: The Musquidobit was built in America as the privateer Lynx . It was launched in 1812, was captured by the Royal Navy early in 1813, and served the Royal Navy until she was sold in 1820.
