Chanel (French, founded 1909), circa 1980s. A black silk designer blouse with stylish double button closure detail at each shoulder, the shirt front with five vertical silk ribbons to front with exposed shiny silk threading to either side over a straight hemline, the long sleeves with gold buttoned cuffs, each button with interlocking C motif. White rectangular label to interior at nape of neck "Chanel" over interlocking Cs and hang tag indicating European size 42 (US size 12), as well as material contents of top. Width across shoulders approximately 16", length back of collar to hem 23".
