English, mid 19th century. A George III style carved mahogany open armchair with a serpentine crest rail and knuckle ears over a pierced vasiform interlaced and gothic splat above a upholstered seat within scrolled arms and turned terminals, raised on square legs joined by an H-form trapezoidal stretcher terminating in brass caps and castors. Approximate height 35.62", width 21", seat depth 16.25", seat height 17".
