Northwest Coast Polychrome Carved Wood Mask, Kwakiutl, c. last quarter 19th century, the hollowed cedar form with open mouth, the articulated lower lip secured by a strip of cloth painted to match the wood, with pierced eyes and nostrils, stylized painting, and incised lines overall, remnant nails probably secured head cloth at one time, ht. 11 1/2 in.
