Paint-decorated Windsor Writing-arm Chair, possibly Maine, c. 1830, the concave back continuing to a shaped arm and writing surface with undermounted drawer, all on turned spindles and shaped seat with a drawer and storage compartment beneath, resting on splayed legs joined by stretchers, original surface of brown and sepia graining borders by green and yellow striping, ht. 31 1/2, seat ht. 18 in.
