Four Engraved Whale's Teeth, 20th century, including a pair of teeth possibly engraved by Gilbert Dolman Jr. of New Bedford, Massachusetts, each depicting a foreshortened portrait of a three-mast sailing vessel, signed 'Dolman" and mounted on a natural piece of wood, together with a tooth depicting the three-masted whaling ship Charles W. Morgan surrounded by several whales and whaling implements, signed "Sandy" on one side and on the reverse a leafy wreath inscribed "REMEMBER THE GIVER;" and another tooth depicting "JONAH THROWN UPON THE LAND," with the whale and town of Ninevah in the distance, mounted on a naturalistic piece of wood, ht. 7 1/2, 7, 8 3/4 in.
