Painted Wooden Model of the Brigantine Flying Cloud, "Built By Howard Moon, Hawkesbury, July 1925," three-masted model , the hull painted black, and green below the water line, with carved wooden life boats and accoutrements, mounted on a wooden base, (imperfections), total ht. 24, lg. 37 in. Note: Accompaning the model are two small framed articles. One is a typewritten letter from Popular Mechanics Magazine, awarding the maker of the model a bronze medal for "Excellence in Craftsmanship" in the 1927 Model Ship Competition, the other frame contains a photo of the model and a printed image of the vessel.
