Currier & Ives, publisher (American 1857-1907) A Home in the Wilderness. , 1870 (Conningham 2861). Identified in inscriptions in the matrix. Small folio lithograph with hand-coloring on paper, sheet size 9 7/8 x 14 78 in., in a late 20th century molded bird's-eye maple frame with gilt liner. Condition: Margins of 7/8 in. or more, small repaired tear l.l. margin, old mat stain. Note: This print ranks no. 17 in the "New Best Fifty," small folio. The paper backing on the reverse retains a paper label from "The Old Print Shop."
